sdBENGALURU: MTS offers internet calling tariff plans at 10 paise per minute for domestic and international calls. Sistema Shyam Teleservices (SSTL), which offers mobile and data services under the brand MTS, on Monday announced dirt cheap internet calling tariff plans, according to financialexpress.com.

MTS has come with new tariff structure for internet calls and subscribers would now pay almost 75 percent less for national and international internet calls using Voice of Internet Protocol (VoIP) apps in comparison to what they are charged while using other mobile networks. Sistema Shyam Teleservices (SSTL) has over 55 percent of its revenue through non voice services and is looking at fully optimizing its resources.

Though it has mobile operations in just nine of 22 telecom circles in the country, it is picking up speed in its goal to reach all over India. However, these services are aimed to heavy users of data and VoIP services, the regular packages will continue to be in force. Even in these data packages, normal voice service will be allowed.

MTS internet plans for prepaid users are as follows, 1 GB for Rs 198, 2GB for Rs 248, 3GB for Rs 399, 5 GB for Rs 499 and 7 GB for Rs 699; all valid for 28 days. Similarly for postpaid users, for 10 GB data the monthly rental plan is of Rs 599, 14 GB for Rs 799, 24 GB for Rs 999 and 30 GB for Rs 1999.
