They take the time to look into the world of social media and are followed by many. A survey by Pinstorm India, revealed the most influential Indians on social media sites. The list consists of 100 people ranging from Narendra Modi to Aamir Khan to Vijay Mallya and many more. The top 10 on the list are:

1. Priyanka Chopra:

Priyanka Chopra holds number one position on the list of the most influential Indians in social media. She has one of the highest numbers of followers- 22, 33,929 on twitter which is more than Sachin Tendulkar, thus, setting her apart from the rest.

2. Shashi Tharoor:

Shashi Tharoor is ranked the second most influential Indian in social media. The Member of Parliament (LokSabha) has 1,300,794 followers. He is also an author of 12books, and has also been the Under-Secretary General, United Nations.
