ISIS Targets India: What Will This Outfit Do Next?

BANGALORE: A sudden rise of the Islamist outfit, ISIS, has put the world in alert as their insurgence grows day by day. The rebel leader believed to be Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi along with his militants has control over a large portion of territories belonging to both Iraq and Syria now known as the Islamic state. He has announced himself as the leader of the Muslim world and also has over shadowed the Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahri, and vows to do more than what was done by the Al-Qaeda.

According to reports, a 19 minute video shows Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi calling out to Muslims all around the world to join the Islamic movement towards making a separate Islamic state. He makes appeals to people of prestigious positions with professions in all fields and also to those with administrative power to join the movement. He promises them that it will return them their dignity and might. He declared himself as the leader of the Islam worldwide.

In a shocking revelation to the worries of Indian security, Baghdadi has called Indian Muslims to join the cause and has revealed that there are Indian Jihadists in his militant outfit. As this being the Ramadan season, he urged Islamists to carry out all attacks for the next one month. This rise in incidence has alerted the Indian government and the Home Minister, Rajnath singh, has ordered extra security at sensitive installations.

The government is in no position to influence the events in the Middle East but the fear grows as India has become an interest for the militants. To add to the woes is the impossible evacuation of Indian citizens from militant controlled regions who are believed to be hiding in a basement. The only relief is that they are unharmed, but for how long is the question.
