Countries With the Highest Life Expectancy


BANGALORE: Life expectancy is probably the most important measure of health. The World Health Organization (WHO) has just released its annual report on the citizen health of almost every country in the world.

As per the report, the inequality in life expectancies around the world is staggering. For men, there was about a 16-year life expectancy gap between high-income and low-income countries; among women, that gap was almost 19 years.

Australia:

Officially known as Commonwealth of Australia, this country is the smallest continent and is known for liberal legislation, compulsory and free education, protected trade unionism, old age pensions to name a few.

This special nature of them made this country as one of the best countries to live in the world and as such people lead a healthy life with great life expectancy. The life expectancy of Australians ranks 7th for women at 84.6 years and 3rd for men at 80.5 years.

The publicly funded Medicare system in Australia proves quite beneficial for its citizens as it co-operate with a specialized private system. Also, the income-relative taxation strategy is attributed for offering benefits to all citizens for consulting with physicians and specialists, all ordered tests and examinations and most surgical procedures.

As per the survey, Australia promotes and delivers a high healthy life through its well developed health care.
