A Look Back At One Year of Modi Government

BENGALURU: On this day last year, Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India amid great expectations. India witnessed a new government take over the paralytic system of governance. With an inspiring past and pragmatic sense of diplomacy, Modi appealed to the masses, investors, and to other leaders around the world.

Moving past Modi’s glory, a report on his performance would read like this: Better than UPA I and UPA II. As a popular leader he fulfilled certain promises he made while some are yet to be adhered to. Overall, the people are made aware of his intentions though all the targets haven’t been hit. Transitions however cannot be simple therefore though the optimism has faded the overall mood remains upbeat among the public.
