# Experience advanced technical railways

The whole world is advancing with technological developments, then why should railways remain behind. Rail minister Suresh Prabhu announced the use of hand held terminals by the travelling Ticket examiners (TTEs).

The use of these terminals would simplify the process of verification of passengers and also the charts could be downloaded within seconds. Prabhu told that the efforts are to move towards paperless ticketing, charting and finalization of refund claims.
