1. Spring Temple Buddha: Spring Temple Buddha statue is currently the world's tallest statue, standing 420ft-tall. It is located in the Zhaocun Township, China and was built in 2002. This statue consists of 1,100 pieces of copper cast and weighs around 1,100 tons, according to Cultural China as reported in The Weather Channel. The Spring Temple Buddha is said to have derived its name from the nearby Tianrui hot spring known for its healing properties. The total height of the statue is 153 meter (502 ft) including a 20 meter (66 ft) lotus throne and a 25 meter (82 ft) building.
