BENGALURU: Ever since its establishment in 1932, Indian Air Force (IAF) has been guarding the nation to keep us protected, as well as successfully taken part in all the wars with great valour. Admittedly IAF is mostly acclaimed as ‘warriors of the sky’ for their stellar sky conquests against our enemies. Indeed, throughout its glorious history, IAF has never failed to take Indian pride over the skies.

Being the 4th largest airborne defence system in the world, the IAF is equipped with estimated 1,380 aircraft which includes, approximately 700 fighters, 6 aerial refueling tanker aircrafts, 133 transport aircrafts, 158 trainer aircrafts, 33 attack helicopters, 156 transport helicopters, 155 utility helicopters, 200 UAVs and 265 Fighter Aircrafts, added with 1, 27,000 IAF employees.
