BENGALURU: India the country which is proved to be the confluence of science and technology through its history, has also given the birth to many of the world renowned scientists, who have invested their entire life to bring out the formidable ideas. However, the influence of the west might over shadow their invention, but could not erase the history; hence here goes the list of great Indian scientists and their incredible inventions.

Prafulla Chandra Ray:

Prafulla Chandra Ray was a Bengali chemist and an educator, who was honored with the first ever Chemical Landmark Plaque outside Europe by the Royal Society of Chemistry.  Ray was born on 2nd August 1861 in Raruli, Khulna and Bengal, wherein he spent his childhood days and founded Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceutical in Kolkata, the first Indian pharmaceutical company. Accounting his contribution towards the field of chemistry, his name is recorded with one among the legendry scientists in India.
