Prakash Padukone

The Badminton legend Prakash Padukone is the first ever Indian to win all England open title. He has become the face of badminton all over the world by winning various medals at World championship, world cup, Asian games and common wealth games.

 He has been Awarded Padma Shree as well as Arjuna Award. After quitting the game in 1991 he started ‘Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy’, which trains junior level players and hosts local and national level competitions to bring out the best players in the country. He also co-founded the ‘Olympic gold quest’ in which they train athletes with the capability of fetching a medal at Olympics.
