6 New Faces Among Fortune India's Most Powerful Women


Debjani Ghosh, MD, Sales & Marketing Group, Intel South Asia:
Debjani Ghosh, MD, Sales & Marketing Group, Intel South Asia is another new name on the list of the Most Powerful Women in Business. She has been Managing Director of Sales and Marketing Operations for South Asia at Intel Technology India since January this year. Under Debjani’s leadership Intel has connected more South Asians to exciting opportunities through technology.

Ghosh served as Chief Executive Officer of Intel Vietnam and Director of Intel Groups Southeast Asia at Intel Corporation and also  served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Southeast Asia at Intel Technology India until December 2011. She certainly is one of India’s most powerful women in business.

Abanti Sankaranarayanan, Country Head, Diageo India:
Abanti Sankaranarayanan makes it to the list too. Abanti has been promoted twice within a year at Diageo, the world's biggest spirits company. She joined Diageo India in 2010 as marketing director and was elevated as deputy managing director earlier this year and was named managing director in July. She lists Rowson's Reserve, a brewedin-India whiskey launched in September 2011 among her achievements.
