KC Cariappa, who fetched a price tag of 2.4 crore at the IPL auction, after top players including Jacques Kallis, found him extremely talented in one of their training camps.

Asked if it was a gamble to have bought Cariappa, a player who does not even have any first class experience, KKR CEO and Managing Director, Venky Mysore said, "The same question was asked when Sunil Narine was picked by us in 2012 and we were fortunate to have got him. Hope Cariappa does the same, but we are happy to have him in the side," reports PTI.
