BENGALURU: As we have passed the 67^th Republic day celebrations, let us remember that the freedom we have got is not free. For our well being, many freedom fighters paid their blood, before independence, and since 1947 countless soldiers have been sacrificing their lives for nation liberty and sovereignty. Anuj Nayyar:

The course of Kargil war has many heroic stories; one among them is exemplary valour of Captain Anuj Nayyar. During the war, the Pimple Complex in Kashmir region was captured by the Pakistani intruders. To recapture the complex, a team led by Anuj Nayyar fought fearlessly and cleared all three bunkers but before attacking the last bunker an enemy grenade detonated near Nayyar, injuring him lethally. Eventually, though team was able to execute all the enemies, including Nayyar all the crew members laid down their lives in the combat.
