# MOM

India’s Mars mission, the Magalyaan, often referred to as MOM was highly successful and made the country proud by placing it on the Elite list of countries pursuing the dream of covering the universe.

One of the main objectives of the Indian mission was to develop the technologies required for designing, planning, managing and operating an interplanetary mission.

With a shoe-string, lesser than a sci-fi Hollywood flick, the  mission was completed in one go.

This changed the perception of the world about India and its power and capacity.
