Bangalore: With the increasing hype of social networking in the world, for individuals to make it in the “it” crowd or have something to talk about in school corridors or office cubicles, it has got everyone quite captivated. We have the top ten Asian countries which made it on the list as the most gripped to social networking according to the Nielsen's survey on the changing Asian media landscape. The rating is much higher than countries like Australia, Japan and New Zealand, which have a much mature market than the Asian countries, where 60 percent of the users admit that they are hooked to social network surfing. Here's the list.

Vietnam:  

Vietnam has added to a big amount of U.S. dollars to the advertising revenue of the social networking because of the power of the crowd it has. As per the Double Click Ad Planner of Google, the most attracting networks to the users in 2012 are Facebook, yume.vn and me.zing.vn. Out of which Facebook drew a crowd of 8.2 million Vietnamese, and the other two domestic networks got 1.9 million and 6.8 million visitors, respectively as per talkvietnam.com.

The Vietnamese government has banned access to certain websites and monitors usage. It also has cyber users imprisoned for inappropriateness. Vietnam managed to secure the highest score of 81 percent for using social media. The government is also stringent about journalism, and bloggers who upload degraded work on net, as reported by yahoo.com.
