10 Most Terrorism-Prone Countries, India Ranks 6th


BANGALORE: Terrorism is being callous and selfish. It’s modern time dictatorship to impede others from living a free life. Its effects are felt by everyone whether involved directly or not.

Terrorism can’t be tossed aside or stubbed out of mind, as it scars every person who believes in peaceful existence. It scorns and disrupts living. With conflicts of all sorts, ranging from civil wars to bloody violence, terrorism is spread beyond anyone’s control in today’s world.

The Global Terrorism Index 2014 set by the Institute for Economics and Peace has come up with the list of most terror-affected nations. The 2014 report revealed that around 10, 000 terrorist attacks have ruined the life in 2013 which is 44 percent more than the year before.  Here is the list of top 10 countries that are more prone to terrorism.

10. Thailand

Score: 7.19 / 10
Number of Deaths (2013): 131

In Thailand, incidents of terrorism are mostly related to South Thailand revolution, which is going on for decades now. It is an ethnic separatist rebellion which is occurring in Southern Thailand, also known as Unrest in Southern Thailand.

The violence of such an uprising has affected other provinces, the campaign was on it heights in 2004. The most recent of the major terror attacks is the 2012 Bangkok bombing, where a series of bombings occurred in Bangkok, injuring five people.

The attack was planned by Iranians to assassinate Israeli diplomats; several Iranians were arrested for the cruel attack.
