We all tend to rest assure that our responsibility is a taken up by others. While words like patriotism, justice, courage and honor are words suited to our fancy, some make a difference and take it in their stride to endure the test as they stand post dedicating their lives defending a cause, reports The Better India

Here are 10 feisty civil servants of India who have sealed their names as patriots  

Narendra Kumar

PS Narendra Kumar began his career in Bihar (2009). True to his badge, he displayed immense courage and dedication towards his work. He was well KUMARknown for working relentlessly against the mining mafia with their illegal activity in mined stones in Morena, Madhya Pradesh.

 In 2012, this lion hearted officer, met a brutal end by the members of the mining mafia at the young age of 30. On sighting a tractor bearing illegal mined stones, he made attempts to stop it. When the driver did not cease to slow down, the daring officer stood in front of it to a halt. Nonetheless, the driver did not halt and ran over Kumar, instantly crushing him to death.
