The Controversies That Rocked B-Town

BANGALORE: Bollywood is not just movies; it comes with controversies alongside as a complete platter, which makes it a comprehensive entertainment. Controversies in the industry are sold for free and even promote the movies—any chaos means immediate hype. As said by Ajay Devgan, “It’s just a way to garner attention,” which could be largely true. There are a few of them which were unwarranted and uncalled for but left everyone jolted.

Here are the top six controversies as listed by Yahoo.

Empty Promises and Broken Dreams-‘Nishabd’:

Jiah Khan’s short life was just as short as her industry life. Little was known that her love revolved around anguish and pain. Bitter love virtually led her to take an extreme step of ending her life, shocking the entire industry. Sooraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi, was blamed by Jiah’s mother.

A six page suicide note found at her residence in Juhu, Mumbai, also seems to be the evidence of an awry relationship with Sooraj, making him the talk of the town. The transcript also had a mention of a recent abortion and indicated that she had planned to end her life.

A lively spunky actress, Jiah khan’s poignant end of a love story displayed the miserable side of an actor’s life yet another time. The 26 year actor was on the process of getting into mainstream acting, having signed up for three South Indian films and one Hindi film titled ‘Aap Ka Saaya’ months before her death.
