B-Town Directors Whose Debut Films Crossed 100 Crore Mark


BANGALORE: Bollywood is known as largest film producers in India and one of the largest centers of film production in the world. The director gives direction to the cast and crew and create an overall vision through which a film eventually becomes worth watch.

Indian cinema has seen various renowned directors over the ages but there are some who made a kick start in their directorial debut only. Here is the list of 7 directors who set the records over 100 crores in their first directorial film.

(#) Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick

Sajid Nadiadwala is a Gujarati Indian film producer and recently made his directorial debut in the film Kick that crossed 200 crore mark, which is a record for a debutant director in Bollywood. Kick is a remake of 2009 Telugu action comedy, thriller film.

A lawyer by education, Nadiadwala started his career as a production assistant in his uncle's production house before establishing his own production company called Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

He is best known for making films Hey Baby, Houseful, Houseful 2, and Heropanti that were big commercial success.
