Top 5 Indian IT Service Providers

Bangalore: Service providers are those companies that supply various provisions such as consulting, legal, real estate, education, communications, storage and processing to enterprises. The term service provider is more broadly used to describe outsourced suppliers or third party service providers that cover aspects like telecommunications, application services (ASPs), storage services (SSPs) and Internet service providers (ISPs) even though it is meant for companies that stand as a single unit or as an organizational sub-unit.

The growth rate of India-based service providers has been slowing for some years, but in 2012 this trend was more pronounced. This growth rate is still quite high compared with the IT services worldwide, or the growth of the top 10 global IT services providers. The global top 10 providers are larger in their base revenue and more diversified than the India-based providers.
