SoftLayer’s CloudLayer:

Founded in the year 2005 by SoftLayer technologies, CloudLayer is an object storage system mainly based on OpenStack Swift environment. The services are offered by SoftLayer along with a range of other services such as compute and CDN. The company also offers storage-area network (SAN) to its customers. SoftLayer has data center locations situated in Amsterdam, Singapore and headquarters at Dallas.

According to Gartner, the product hasn’t caught the wide eye of the enterprise arena because it lacks proper support and turnkey cycles.

 

Internap:

Although Internap primarily deals in managed service provisions of route optimization and content delivery over the internet, recently the organization has emerged itself into a cloud player across the enterprise space. The Internap cloud service is based upon the OpenStack Swift storage platform and is now available in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Internap also has bought in some new innovative features such as the Manager Internet Route Optimizer (MIRO) layer which analyzes the performance of the possible routes to deliver content and chooses the best one.

Gartner has ranked Internap pretty low because of its limited enterprise presence.
