And the result has just been emphatic. The outcome has now encouraged some of the major companies as this time around, the tech world will see a major shift in the way the business world perceives Linux.

#3 Linux gaining major ground as a gaming platform:

Of lately the gaming world has seen a lot of games coming into the Linux platform. Thanks to Valve porting steam to Linux, now the scenario has totally changed as gaming in a Linux based system is no more a distant dream. This seriously boosted the number of users and designers, as the effects will surely climb up the mountain of the desktop market share of Linux systems.
