Profile: Sanjeev Welling, country head - India business, for NTT DATA’s India business; manages the company’s regional P&L, and is responsible for the region’s long-term organic growth from a sales perspective.

Having spent over 16 years in the U.S. prior to being a part of NTT DATA in India, Sanjeev has rich experience in the Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sectors, managing client relationships, global account management, Sales and Business Development, in addition to having participated in Mergers and Acquisition in the global consulting, outsourcing and professional services companies.

Sanjeev holds a Bachelors of Engineering (BE) in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, along with an MBA in global management from the Phoenix University, USA. A highly motivated individual with entrepreneurial skills, Sanjeev is a results–oriented team player with a proven ability to develop business units, develop key relationships, build and expand customer bases, provide business solutions, and improve revenues for large business units.

Today, NTT DATA is a leading IT services provider headquartered in Tokyo, with business operations in over 40 countries and with more than 75,000 professionals providing services ranging from consulting and systems development to outsourcing. Next to Japan, NTT DATA’s second largest concentration of employees is in India.
