IBM Introduces its Smart Cloud Entry Platform


Bangalore: IBM India today announced the launch of the IBM Smart Cloud Entry, to address Indian enterprises’ need of a simplified cloud environment to create private clouds. This platform is specifically designed to deal with the requirements of Indian customers. This smart cloud entry is an entry level private cloud offering that can be effortlessly brought into play as it is simple to deploy and easy to use.

This technology promises to increase the IT efficiency and reduce administrations costs by enabling organizations to quickly deploy self-service provisioning of virtualized clouds, which eases the transition to a cloud based infrastructure and leverage the benefits of a cloud delivery model.

This Smart cloud entry model is well suited for starters who want to enter the cloud computing world and the existing customers who have virtualized infrastructure can effortlessly migrate to this model.

Users can now request and provision an environment quickly through an easy-to-use web-based interface, while IT managers can monitor and manage this environment for improved efficiency and utilization of the data center.
