Bangalore: After launching the Enterprise business in India in 2011, Huawei Enterprise Group is all set to strengthen its presence in the country. Starting with a series of road shows, wherein a mobile experience zone showcases its ICT products and solutions, to give a hands-on experience to partners and customers. The mobile experience zone has been travelling across the globe and is now on a multi-city India tour. Now in Bangalore, the 50 feet automotive wonder is meant to provide one of a kind product experience here. 

Having a central theme called ‘Innovation Unplugged’ that translates as “A Better Way”, as part of this activity Huawei Enterprise has five distinct focus areas: innovative tele-presence solutions, video surveillance solutions, ECC solutions, Unified Communications and IPCC solutions that are targeted towards the enterprise segment in India.    

In continuation with offering the best of breed enterprise products, Huawei Enterprise launched two new products: S5700-LI Series Gigabit Switches & AR150 & AAR200 Series Enterprise Router. The S5700-LI series gigabit enterprise switches are the next-generation energy-saving switches developed to meet the demand for high-bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-service aggregation. Available in four models, S5700 supports the Smart Ethernet Protection (SEP) protocol, applied to the link layer on an Ethernet network. The Ethernet network provides point-to-point Ethernet fault management and can detect faults in the last mile of an Ethernet link. Thus making it reliable and highly scalable. Huawei’s S5700-LI series switches have recently received the IEC62368 certificate from Underwriters Laboratories Incorporation (UL). This is the first IEC62368 certificate awarded on communications products. As the first company in the industry that has won this certificate, Huawei has set up an industry benchmark and, more importantly, demonstrates its core ideas of giving top priority to safety designs.

The AR G3 series, AR150 & AR200 Series Enterprise Routers provide a comprehensive set of functions that include routing, switching, voice, security and wireless, all suitable for enterprise branches and small businesses. These routers use embedded hardware encryption technique and support voice Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Available in eight models, the AR150 & AR200 Series Enterprise Routers are compact in size and provide a capacity which is four times the performance of the industry.
