6 FBI Lessons to Strengthen Enterprise Security


 

Bangalore: Enterprises can take a cue from the FBI to tighten their security.

This suggestion comes from one of the Ex-Executive Assistant of the FBI, Shawn Henry, who was responsible for handling all FBI’s criminal investigations worldwide including cyber crimes. He made this point in the Black Hat 2012 conference.

Explaining his point, Henry mentioned how FBI restructured its combat strategy after the 9/11 working with admittance that terrorists might already be present in the country planning a conspiracy and then finding the best way to help the bureau take combat against the conspirers.

In the same way enterprises need to accept the fact that in today’s world, where it has become very easy for any person to breach into an organization’s security with just a laptop and an internet connection, enterprises are prone to hacking attacks 24x7. This acceptance will not only help CISO’s better plan their security layouts but will also help combat the dynamic hacking attacks all around the globe.
