Perpetuuiti Technosoft To Open R&D Wing For Building Disaster Recovery Software


BANGALORE: We all know that policies, process and procedures are the vital things to keep the business functioning in the way of disruptive events. Keeping the above elements in focus the Singapore based enterprise software maker Perpetuuti Technosoft is setting up a research centre for building next generation disaster recovery software, reports ET.

Co-founded by former Sanovi Technologies employees, Rohil Sharma and Sundar Raman, in 2011, Perpetuuiti is aimed at providing business continuity planning and disaster recovery services solutions through its flagship product, Continuity Patrol.

CEO Sharma said, "In early days, the idea of a product is more important. But as we grow we need to continuously innovate."

Disaster recovery is mainly related to preparing, recovery or continuation of technology infrastructure, which are vital to an organization after a natural or human-induced disaster. The recovery process exclusively focuses on the IT or technology systems that support business functions, as divergent to business continuity, which involves planning to keep all aspects of a business functioning in the middle of unruly events.

The profitable firm that has over 30 global customers including Hindustan Unilever, Vodafone, Asian is expecting to reach $20 million ( 120 crore) in sales in the next two years, and to add on to that the company has also added 20 members to its team last month.  

Going forward the company is also looking to expand its reach in Asia Pacific, Europe and Australia in the near future.
