World Leaders And Their Views At Davos 2013


Bangalore: The World Economic Forum (WEF) had its 43rd Annual Meet recently in Davos, Switzerland with 'Resilent Dynamism' being the theme of this year's annual meeting. This meeting continued till January 27.

Global leaders from across the globe attended this meeting with their views to change the economic condition. Below is the list of some of the most influential leaders in the WEF Annual Meet at Davos.

Kamal Nath

Born in 18 November 1946 in Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath is the Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs in India.

He is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He leaded the team India at the Davos Meet 2013.

Kofi Annan

The seventh Secretary General of the UNO, Kofi Annan was also present in the Davos meet 2013. He is one of the co-recipients of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize for his founding of the Global AIDS and Health Fund to support developing countries in their struggle to care for their people.

Praful Patel

Praful Patel (born February 17, 1957, Kolkata), who has been the Aviation Minister till January 2011 and is currently acting as the Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises in the Indian Republic. He was also present in the Davos meet 2013.

Praful Patel has been associated with numerous corruption investigations, within India and abroad.

Bill Gates

The software tycoon, Bill gates also attended the Davos meet 2013.

He spoke at the "Global Development Outlook," setting the agenda for the next Millennium Development Goals.
