Every individual right from the business man to the common man was anxiously waiting for the budget. The Finance Minister has proposed many provinces which had mixed reactions from different sector. For some the budget was a good one where as for some it was not up to their expectations.

Rediff.com had identified certain measures that Finance Minister had ignored in his budget. The budget seems to be more by immediate circumstances.

The FM’s budget was making best of the situations instead of using an integrated ideological vision to drive the Indian economic situation to reach new heights.

The proposal for federalization in the budget was also not given by the government instead it was FFC which forced the government to take such measures which were different from all previous commissions. According to FFC terms, the Modi government had to rethink about the plan and non plan division in expenditure. But the government had done it half heartedly as it was willing control its spending priorities by transferring money from  center to states in it FY 2015-16 budget session.
