Top Executives From Infosys Bag Million Dollar Salaries


BANGALORE: Probably IT industry is the only niche where people get swanky salaries and this could be seen from the whopping amount of money they take home from their respective organizations. And recently, the biggest example has been set by the Infosys COO, UB Pravin Rao and Finance Chief Rajiv Bansal, reports The Economic Times.

According to a SEC filing released by Infosys recently, Rao bagged around $1 million annual income and Bansal is paid a decent amount of $770, 858 for the fiscal year ended in March 2015. Their annual income is a gross total of bonus, incentives and their earnings from stock options.

Even though, Vishal Sikka, CEO of Infosys is paid more , since he joined the company in June 2014; and his salary is evaluated on a pro-rata basis. With $5.08 million and $2 million stock options in hand, Sikka is one of the highest paid CEOs in India.

Sikka's compensation is vigorously disposed towards variable pay in view of execution and profit from stock options. His base payment as of now stands at $900,000 per annum, with yearly target variable pay at around $4.18 million.

The budgetary year 2014-15 turned out to be an intense year for Infosys regarding execution, with the organization missing the mark concerning industry-level development rates of around 13 percent. Speculators will now intently track Sikka's execution of his new methodology and whether it conveys the outcomes that he has guaranteed.
