Antilia a 27-floor personal home in South Mumbai belongs to business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries. A full-time staff of 600 maintains the residence and is reportedly the most expensive home in the world. The building is situated on an ocean-facing 48,780 sq ft plot at Altamount Road, and it is estimated that the house is worth $2 billion.

However, on one hand where this larger than life home belongs to only one family, on the other hand about 78 million people are homeless in India despite the country growing in global economic stature.
