Tata, Mistry to Address Industrialists on March 3


Bangalore: Tata Group Chairman, Ratan Tata, and Chairman-designate, Cyrus Mistry, will address members of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on March 3, when both the top officials of the group will be in the city to take part in Tata Steel' s founder day. SCCI President, R. K. Agarwal, said Tata and Mistry has given their consent and will spend an hour with the members of the industrial body. During their stay, Agarwal said they will interact with local industrialists and take part in question-answer session, which will mostly be oriented around the development of Jharkhand as well as Tata Motors ancillary units situated in and around the Adityapur Industrial Estate near here in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district. Majority of industries in the Adityapur Industrial Estate are Tata Motors ancillary units for decades. Out of over 1,100 units, Agarwal claimed 90 percent are in operation.
