MUMBAI: Automobile component manufacturer Subros on Saturday said that it has reinstated full component supplies to Maruti Suzuki India.
According to the component manufacturer, it was able to reinstate full supplies to Maruti Suzuki from the company's plants at Noida, Pune and Chennai.
"With reference to the earlier letter dated May 30, 2016, Subros has informed BSE that the company has reinstated full supplies to its customer Maruti Suzuki India from the company's other plants at Noida, Pune and Chennai," the auto component manufacturer said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
"The company is working on fast-track basis to re-build the Manesar facilities so as to commence production in phased manner."
The company's Manesar plant was damaged in a fire incident on May 29, 2016.
Automobile major Maruti Suzuki had to suspend production of cars at its Manesar and Gurgaon facilities, due to component supply constraints caused due to the fire incident.
Maruti Suzuki even had to prepone its regular bi-annual maintenance closure of its plants to arrange for components.
