Bangalore: How do you prefer to get the news of the day–on your timeline on facebook, twitter or a newspaper? What time of the day and how much time do you devote to stay well informed? Now compare your preferences with that of the bigwigs. A report compiled by Business Insider with information borrowed from various media sources informs us that early morning is the preferred time of these hugely successful and extremely busy people for collecting all the news they want. And despite the growing popularity of the social media as news outlets, most of them still prefer the good old morning newspaper. The study threw up these and a few more interesting facts, as reported by Alison Griswold and Max Nisen of the Business Insider.

After burning the midnight oil for completing the previous day’s work, he has to get up early so that he can be in the office between 8.30AM to 9 AM. So, where’s the time to read? Well, he finds enough time to go for a work out and read his papers before going to office. It’s not for nothing that he is the holder of the world’s most important job. He reads the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. He follows the regular columns in the Times and reads a couple of blogs.
