People Who Changed the World in Business


Bangalore: Setting up a business is not everyone’s cup of tea, some excel at it and some lag behind, so here are some of the businessmen who brought a change into the world of business and are inspirational to all the new comers in business.

Henry Ford

Ford was an American industrialist who founded the Ford Motor Company and sponsored the development of the assembly line technique of mass production. He introduced the model T automobile and revolutionized the transportation and American industry. Ford was known as the technological genius and a folk hero. He left his vast wealth for the Ford Foundation but he made arrangements so that his family could permanently control the company. Ford wrote a book “The International Jew.”  In 1999 he was among the 18 included in Gallup’s List of Widely Admired People of the 20th Century, in 1928 he was awarded the Franklin’s Institute’s Elliott Cresson Medal, and the United States Postal Service honored  him with a prominent Americans series postage stamps. “The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed.” ~Henry Ford.
