Bangalore: As India celebrated its 66 years of its independence, women in India have pulled up their socks and are marching forward and living up to their childhood dreams and by contributing their bit to the society. They are no more confined to family maintenance. They have come out of their homes and have made a prominent mark everywhere.

Here are lists of Indian women who are currently working in the country’s big auto companies, compiled by Lijee Philip of Economic Times.

Bajaj is one of the Indian automobile companies that encourage women employees in handling their factory machines as well as store outlet. In the factories, they mostly handle machines to assemble different parts of the vehicle, three-wheelers and passenger vehicles.

Women employees are breaking the traditional myths and are taking up responsibilities that were typically stereotyped only for male counterparts.
