Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw: The Chairwoman and managing director of Biocon, based in Bangalore, has made huge contributions to the world of bioscience. She has been awarded numerous prizes for her immense work in the area of science and chemistry.

Recently, her company in partnership with Mylan launches a targeted therapy to treat certain types of breast cancer. This was the first of its kind in the world launched in India. She became the fourth Indian to be awarded the Global Economy Prize for Business by Kiel Institute.

Zia Moody: An Indian Legal consultant is part of the Baha’i Faith in India. She is a powerful woman when it comes to corporate merger and acquisition law, securities law, private equity and project finance. She is the managing partner at AZB & Partners.

A lady who is called “an institution in herself” has already helped facilitate deals worth billions of dollars, along with her associates.
