India's Most Powerful CEOs Of 2014


BANGALORE: The competition level in India among various industries is overwhelming with innovation, creation and technology rising every day. This country’s industrial force is held and led by some of the most experienced and respected persons who either founded the company or is running the business very effectively. These CEOs are advancing the nation’s business and economical forces through their skills.

The catch though is that not all CEOs are loved by their employees. Some CEOS may be good with the Business aspects and bad with people management, while other CEOs may be good at both. So based on various criteria, IMRB international conducted a survey to find out the most powerful CEOs in India. Here is the list compiled by Economic Times.

N R Narayana Murthy: The founder and ex-CEO of Infosys, Narayana Murthy was a graduate of NIT and got his masters from IIT Kanpur.

He is presently the Chairman Emeritus of Infosys. He lives a simple life, with two children along with his wife Sudha Murthy. He is known for having created jobs and also making money for his employees, shareholders and anyone associated with Infosys.

He currently earns 1 per annum as a salary from the company. Apart from this multinational company, Murthy and his wife are also into social works through the Infosys Foundation. He is rated as the top most powerful CEO more times than anyone else on the list and currently holds the spot for the same.
