ICICI Bank Q4 Net Profit Jumps 31 Percent


New Delhi: Country's largest private sector lender ICICI Bank reported 31 per cent jump in net profit at 1,902 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal. It had profit of 1,452 crore in the January-March quarter, 2010-11, ICICI Bank said in a statement. During Q4, its total income increased to 11,403 crore, from 8,797 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the bank said. Also, the lender's net interest margin improved to 3.01 per cent in Q4 FY-12, from 2.74 per cent during the same period the previous fiscal. Further, the bank's consolidated profit after tax showed 25 per cent rise during the period, increasing to 7,643 crore from 6,093 crore. For the entire fiscal, the bank's standalone PAT showed a rise of 26 per cent at 6,465 crore, as against 5,151 crore earlier.
