BENGALURU:  In a recent research by New Delhi-based researcher Prime Database, the team has churned out some figures based on figures provided by the companies in their annual reports. The list contains top 9 names of the highest-paid directors in India while shedding light on their qualification:

1. Bernardus Johannes Maria Verwaayen

Better known as Ben Verwaayen, is currently a founding Partner of Keen Venture Partners.  Served as a CEO of Alcatel-Lucent from Sep ‘15 2008 to April ‘13, he received the amount of Rs 2.5 Cr when his tenure ends in March 2015 for serving on the board of Bharti Airtel.
