Digital Locker: Now Store Your Important Data Digitally


BENGALURU: Aren’t we all bored of carrying our personal and educational documents with us all the time? Worry no more, Modi Government has now started an initiative of facilitating a Digital locker which will help in reducing the usage of physical documents which will eventually fade out and tattered as the time passes by, according to Rediff.com.

Digital Locker basically provides a personal e-storage space to the citizens which will be linked to their Aadhaar Numbers. Citizens can store their PAN Card, Degree Certificates, Marks Sheets and Passport Data easily which will be accessed by government officials during verification of your documents. The best feature of this Digital Locker is that, all your documents can be shared via cloud access. To sign-up for your digital locker, one needs an Aadhaar number with a registered mobile number.

Digital Locker will reduce the administrative heads of government departments and agencies due of paper work. It will also help the citizens to receive services given by the Government anytime anywhere. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stepped up his digital presence by launching the Narendra Modi Mobile App which can be downloaded via Google Play store on Android Platform.

An Android based application is also available on Google Play Store, which is functionally aimed at people to give them a chance to interact, send feedback , reviews and also share their ideas with him.

As a whole, the Digital Locker facility will provide the customers to safely dump their personal data in it without any worries and also share it electronically whenever and wherever they need it.
