United Fruits:

They say that you can make money from anything and everything if you have the Knack for business. Well that is exactly the story of United Fruits Company. This company became an international fruits dealer, when they transported fruits, primarily bananas, from Latin and South America to United States of America, Canada and later to Europe.

United Fruits was a powerful political force as well; building roads, pushing out dictators and even ran for Guatemala elections. They were more than a business company. This company lives on today under the name of Chiquita Brands International.

Mitchell Energy: 

A company that is focused on oil and gas productions, Mitchell Energy was founded by George Mitchell, who was a businessman, real estate developer and a philanthropist. Mitchell through his company brought about a whole new revolution to hydraulic extraction of oil and gas.
