Budget 2015: Gainers And Losers

BANGALORE: Breaking the speculations, Finmin Arun Jaitley’s first ever union budget has been announced.

Some say that the budget leans in favor of corporates and some opine that it was a beneficiary for the common man as well. The budget rightly shunned populism and focused on growth essentials.

Prior to the budget there were other speculations about the new government’s benefits, which it promised to fulfill the common man, industries or others on a whole. Let’s make a count on who lost and who won in the Budget 2015 as compiled by Reuters.

GAINERS

#Housing

Urban development is the key to eradicate poverty in India. And that is why Jaitley has put his serious concerns in the Union budget. He has allotted 224 billion for housing and urban development.

It is high time that government should look after the rural areas in India who are deprived of even the basic amenities. Under the government plan 40 million homes will be constructed in rural areas and 20 million in urban areas by 2022.

The Real Estate geeks like DLF Ltd, Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties and Puravankara Projects are surely going to mint huge profits from this development scheme.
