Bangalore: Bollywood videos gains high score in 2011 with 23 million exclusive YouTube users in India, according to Comscore data. Around 48 hours of content has been uploaded each minute at YouTube and with about one trillion playbacks, it approximately counts to 140 views for each person on earth. Video streaming has made it way for 100 million users in India. Right from popular songs, movie trailers or nursery rhymes, India explored and enjoyed all on YouTube. Gautam Anand, Director Content Partnerships, Google APAC said, "Bollywood is big part of the YouTube experience in India. In 2011, Indians enjoyed a full range of content from full length movies, TV shows, live sports, music videos, movie trailers and much more," as cited in Business Standard. The viral video like "Kolaveri DI" had a huge success and harvested over 25 million views within a month of its release in YouTube. With many other versions following up in the site, its expected to make am impact of 100 million internet users in the country. Talking about the TV shows, a special mention is required to the 40th episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, as the show claims to be the most popular watched show on TV with around 1.5 lakh views till date. In order to identify some of the fastest-rising search terms each month, YouTube also compiled billions of queries that people typed into YouTube in 2011. Kolaveri Di, Bigg Boss 5 and IPL 2011 were some of the most searched on YouTube in India.
