Ambani's Skyscraper Most Expensive Billionaire Home in the World


BANGALORE: Belongs to the Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Antilia is the most expensive home in the world. This Mumbai residence, Antilia, has been talk of the town and much hyped in the media. Apart from its luxury amenities and the huge cash dispensed on this property, this luxurious mansion is iconic and exemplary in its own way with the perfect fusion of ‘Comfort and Luxury.’ Recently, it is rated as the most expensive billionaire home in the world according to the recent Forbes list.

The skyscraper stands tall in Mumbai’s Altamount Road, which is one of the most expensive addresses in the world and is home to the richest.

The most expensive building is named after the mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean. This famous 400,000 square foot residential building needs no introduction it is as iconic as its owner. Although, Antilia is 27-floor high, yet some ceilings are of double heights, it looks closer to the size of a 40-floor building.

Mukesh Ambani faced lot of critics for ‘Antilia’, for spending a whooping $1 billion on building this home. Ambani was questioned upon this construction on a plot, which constitutes only a small portion of the actual market rate and then Ambani wanted it to convert into a flamboyant tower in the city of Mumbai. Total of 600 working staff take the charge of maintenance of the grand building, though Nita Ambani in one her interviews told that when children are back home, they clean their own rooms.
