'Amazon Launchpad'; A Helping Hand For Startups


BANGALORE: Amazon is extending a helping hand to the budding entrepreneurs by launching a new platform. This allows the startups advertise and distribute their products directly to Amazon customers in fact allowing them to reach out to a larger number of customers than they could manage to get in the initial days of the business, reports Business Insider.

The e-commerce company has joined hands with over 25 crowd funding platforms such as Indiegogo and venture capital firms in order to offer more than 200 products on its new platform named as 'Amazon Launchpad'. Amazon  will be in charge of all these products buy managing the inventory, completing orders using its distribution network and providing after-sales service.

The vice president of Amazon, Jim Adkins stated that, "As the pace of innovation continues to increase within the startup community, we want to help customers discover these unique products and learn the inspiration behind them. We also know from talking to startups that bringing a new product to market successfully can be just as challenging as building it."

Amazon is planning to also help these startups to spread globally. With this venture Amazon expects to increase their consumers and popularity.
