5 Successful Indian Companies Run by Husband And Wife


Bangalore: Husband and wife’s relation are said to be the best relation in the world. Understanding, love, support, emotions; one can find all these components among a husband and a wife.

But things may not be the same for working couples. When both the husband and wife are working in different fields, there are chances that they will have different timings for work. If this happens, it will be the beginning of hard times for the couple.

Radhika P Nair & Peerzada Abrar from ‘ET Bureau’ has listed some couples, who don’t have to worry about all these problems.

1. Mast Kalandar

The cofounder of Mast Kalandar, Pallavi Gupta says, "We were clear-eyed about the financial risks and the sacrifices we needed to make. We were ready for it."

Pallavi’s husband, Gaurav Jain set up the business in 2006; Pallavi was working during that time. Though Pallavi had plans to continue her life, working for the software companies, she was working with; she finally changed her mind and joined her husband.

Prior to the launch of Mast Kalandar, both the couple was working for software companies and was living the life of techies.

After completing engineering from MNREC, Allahabad, Gaurav joined IMT Ghaziabad. On the other hand, Pallavi did her engineering from Thapar Institute, Patiala and later joined IMT, Ghaziabad for MBA.
