5 Indians Who Hold Top Positions in Giant MNCs


Bangalore: 2013 is a year when India is coming under the limelight and on the way of owning the tag of being the fastest growing market for international companies. In such scenario many Indians are also making their presence into the boardrooms of few of the big hot shot multi national companies.

Few major MNCs who are betting high on India have also commenced mentoring programmes which will help them to take up leadership roles abroad. Japan’s electronic giant Panasonic has shortlisted 10 employees from its offices across India who might make it to global roles.

Though there have been questions about Indian-Americans and their role in the Silicon Valley after U.S. Congress’ new immigration bill, but the fact that most of the start-ups and even few of the major companies leading roles are handled by Indian-Americans, state a different story.

1. Abhijit Talwalkar
President & CEO, LSI

Abhijit Y. Talwalkar, Abhi, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of LSI Corporation since May 23, 2005. Prior to LSI Talwalkar served as the Corporate Vice President in Intel Corporation. Since Talwalkar joined LSI, he has really added the company’s profit margin of LSI, which  design semiconductors and software that accelerate storage and networking in datacentres , mobile networks and client computing.
