Indian Major Larsen & Toubro ranked 9th world wide. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company has business interests in technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing goods. Incidentally none of these companies are found in the 50 Most Innovative Companies list of Forbes.

Perhaps INNOVATION plays a role in evaluating Innovative Companies!?

The above citation for TCS doesn't mention anything that innovative. They have been depicted as software ADM services company bagging mega contracts.
