4 Indian Entrepreneurs Who Took Failures As Their Stepping Stones


BANGLORE: ‘Failures are stepping stones to successes’; we have been hearing such motivational quotes throughout our lives. But most of us fail to adapt these lessons in to life. Success is not an easy thing to achieve, there are some young Indian entrepreneurs who started their careers with failures and now are well reputed businessmen. Let us look at five such people as compiled by Economic Times.

Raghav Verma

When Raghav Verma decided to quit his U.S. headquartered consultant firm job in 2012, he was aspiring to be an entrepreneur. He decided to follow his heart and started ‘Pre-Square’ which is an online coaching class tutorial for competitive exams like IIT-EEE and CAT with his former colleague. Pre-Square was a platform, which provided expert lectures with comparatively low price. Especially those who could not afford the high tuition fee for such classes were attracted to the venture which resulted in enrollment of over 15,000 students.

 But It couldn’t find further investors and they had to shut it down soon. But he didn’t give up his dream to become a successful entrepreneur and started ‘Chaayos’ which sells tea through nine outlets in Delhi-NCR. The venture became successful when investors started throwing their money to them. They launched their online app in April and now aiming to make the number of outlets to 60 by next may.
